A quick look at my 3 favorite acts

Hello Killrs, I hope the Spring season is treating you well.

This season is a time for rebirth, so today I'm sharing with you three acts I've been quietly upgrading.

Take a peek!

Breathing

✨ This is an act I'll be taking with me into the future. Originally debuted as "My Soul" to the song of the same name by Thrice, this act has morphed into the crowd favorite, "Breathing". Built as a vehicle tell my story of survival, this act shows alchemy in real time, as I conjure and transmute my personal history with multiple near death experiences...

Catwoman's Heist

😼 I've been working on real life bullwhip skills, new sewing and dance techniques for the upgrades on this act. Catwoman will always be close to my heart and soul, and I'm beyond excited to bring this act back when it's ready. I have sooo many new cool things to show you and will be bringing you along for the ride!

Power's Heartache

😈 Performed in full burlesque-ified cosplay, this nerdlesque act explores what Power the blooodd devil from Chainsaw Man, acted like in her relationship with the infamous Control Devil, Makima. Notoriously unhinged, but super seggsy, this act is the only one I've had that actually scares people!

I hope you enjoyed reading a bit more about my acts. If you'd like to read the full post, click on "Read More". There you'll see more details and be able to participate in the discussion. As always, feel free to hit reply to this email and let me know your thoughts.

What are you working on these days?

How will you transform this spring?

Until next time, see you space killrs!

With much love and admiration,

- On A Personal Note - A quarterly newsletter on my life as an artist from Selina Starkillr 2025 was NOT it for me… And yet, here I am, alive and well in 2026. How did it go for you? It’s been a while since we last connected, and so very much has happened. Let’s catch up, shall we? Last year was full of surprises for me, momentous highs and deep, dark lows. I started and ended a business partnership, joined and left a drag house, performed new nerdlesque & burlesque acts, shared my art at...

Selina starkillr's notes on: How Comparative Mindsets Keep Us Stuck Have you ever gotten an idea for an act or performance, only to stop yourself because you “don’t have a good enough costume”? Or maybe you’ve seen others bravely baring it all in burlesque and thought, “Oh, I could never do that.” Is this something that you’ve felt before? know I have. It’s called a comparative mindset, and it can lead to feeling lonely, sad, and contribute to low self esteem. Especially in today’s world of...

Happy New Year everyone! 2024 was a crazy year. Let's start off 2025 by doing something nice for ourselves! Hey all! How have you been? It's been a while since our last chat. What have I been up to? Oh, just co-producing my first three burlesque, drag, and pole events with the amazing Miranda Darling! We're called Killr Darling Productions, and our event is called Outcast Cabaret! There are tons of pictures of our events over on our Instagram here. Our next event is coming up soon! Outcast...
